Google API Data Notice

Transparent information on the optional use of Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 during the private beta.

Which Google services can be connected?

Which permissions are requested?

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly

These permissions are read-only. The app does not request write access, Gmail, Drive, Ads, payment, or broad account permissions.

How is the data used?

The data is used to provide Shopware merchants and agencies with better SEO, catalog, product, and content optimization insights. Search Console can help assess visibility and search performance. GA4 can add traffic and engagement signals.

AI use and model training

Google user data is not used to train AI models. Aggregated search performance signals may be used in AI-assisted analysis and recommendations; raw data from Google accounts is not transferred to AI providers.

What does the app not do?

• No write access to Google Search Console or Google Analytics.
• No access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Ads, or private account content.
• No sale of Google user data.
• No use of Google user data for advertising or ad targeting.
• No transfer of Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing functionality, with user consent, or for security or legal reasons.
• No human access to Google user data except with consent, for security purposes, or where legally required.
• No transfer of customer, order, payment, or checkout data to AI providers.

Storage and revocation

OAuth tokens are stored only in the Wickednet bridge, encrypted at rest where required for the connection. The Shopware installation stores only non-secret connection metadata when the Wickednet bridge is used. Users can revoke the connection in the plugin and through their Google account. After revocation, stored OAuth tokens are deleted within 30 days unless legal retention duties apply.
